Year 2008 Location Dubai, UAE Typology Pubblic space Covering a huge urban area with a dome would ensure inside a constant and comfortable temperature by using natural ventilation and a passive cooling system. This allows us to recreate a natural microclimate, trees, vegetation, terraces, open spaces and to offer the citizen a living place in which he doesn’t feel separate from the outside. |

| The dome used together with an underground square and chimneys for ventilation creates favourable conditions even for tall buildings providing enormous improvements in energy efficiency. |
