The project allows the reorganization of the civic space around the town council, highlighting the relation between Piazza Indipendenza and Livenza levee. The project also provide a new concept to the idea of parking, that becomes a multifunctional area located behind the Town Hall. In addition, a different role of public space lay upon it and lives daily thanks to resting areas equipped with benches, trees, green areas, and the main entrance to the public library.
The inclusion, near the embankment, of a new amphitheatre supports the hypothesis of creating a route to discover the river. The lighting system becomes one of the codes of reading of the project because it strengthens the urban axes and the salient points. The design integrates the squares, the bus stop, the access to the centre and the belvedere near the amphitheatre that complement each others.
