• Clearness and recognisability are the main elements of the project; the distinct spaces, the simple forms and the colours make the orientation easier. The teaching units are grouped into two autonomous cycles, where the courtyards are occasion of leisure and discovery of environmental concern through the use of compotes, planting and elements for solar energy captation.

• The pedagogical area, the laboratories, and the multifunctional room overlook the central space as a lowered amphitheatre called "the courtyard of the games".The polyvalent room with distributive and recreational functions uses the passive heat technology by utilizing the solar radiations and the thermal mass in order to distribute warm air to the environment.

• In the summer the coverage and the planting control the solar radiation increasing the air circulation by exploiting the Òchimney effectÓ. The volumes of the gym and the cafeteria, visible from the city, become a urban Landmark.
