• The purpose of the project is not to add elements, but to build a single element able to organize different activities of the urban life: the library, the park, the school, the walk, the square. That's why we didn't design isolated buildings in the park, but we forced them in a unity that is paradigmatic. The unitary shape of the building contains all the required functions as in the Venetian traditional rural houses.

• The main part of the design composition is a huge flight of steps made of dark stone that contains the entries to the three buildings. This strong element is at the same time the plinth, the boundary of the square, the embankment against the garden and the volume containing the library archive. The library, the music hall and the cultural centre for elder lean above the flight of steps.

• The west volume, with practicable coverage, contains the common entrance both for the library and for the music hall. Inside this flexible structure there are two cubes in wood containing the listening room and the stage of the music hall. The south volume containing the centre for elderly is equally composed by two fixed cubes in wood, that containing the services and a meeting room.

• The faades was designed to harmonize with the surroundings. The south faade at the end of the main street facing the town provides with a deep colonnade. The west front, that is a filter between the urban space and the rural space, has some small openings as in the traditional Venetian houses.
